Reclaimed Yorkshire Flagstone
Made over a hundred years ago to pave the streets, factories and mills of northern England's industrial past, old York stone paving is full of character and charm. Made by hand, each paving stone has a natural face and edge. Combined with years of footfall and exposure to the elements, each paving stone is unique in colour, texture, size and width.
Our top grade York stone paving, sometimes known as Cathedral stone or Cathedral faced stone is 2 to 3 inches thick and worn smooth over the years to produce the much sought after look of classic York flagstones. This top grade is suitable for either internal or external use.
Our next grade of York stone (grade AA) has a smooth to lightly riven surface. The flags have natural fettled edges and range in thickness from 2 to 4 inches.
Another grade of York flagstone available is grade A. This excellent value York stone paving has a more riven surface with a few sawn edges and is 4 inches thick. This flagstone is ideally suited for “country” style patios and terraces.
Our final grade of Yorkshire flagstone is grade B, or sometimes referred to as Rossendale. This flag has a heavy riverbed riven finish and is up to 5 inches thick and is very popular for those wanting to achieve the “rustic” look for their project.

From our Yard in the heart of the Weald of Sussex we deliver throughout the South East including Sussex, Kent, Surrey and South London. This service is free of charge for orders over 12m2. In addition to this we can deliver Yorkshire flagstone countrywide at very competitive rates of haulage.

New! Introducing Longmoor, sawn grey Yorkstone flagstone. This prestigious stone has an extremely durable quality that is the hallmark of natural Yorkstone. It is predominantly a beautiful blue-grey with varying amounts of natural buff tones to give the wonderful pattern that only Yorkstone can give. Longmoor is cut to 600mm wide in random lengths and at 50mm thick it gives a unique stylish feel of permanence to every project.

Reclaimed Yorkshire Cobbles
As our York walling, the reclaimed Yorkshire cobbles are straight from the streets of Yorkshire. Loaf sized cobbles of York and Grit stone that are now predominately used for walling.
Yorkshire Boulders / Rockery
We stock newly quarried York stone boulders for use as feature stones, waterfalls and rockeries. Customers are welcome to choose the boulders that appeal to them.
Reclaimed Granite Setts
Reclaimed random sized granite setts prove to be a versatile item for small walls, rumble strips, edging or just as paving. These are completely random in size and colour. Each batch is unique.
